Hello all,
is it correct that all waveforms throughout the simulation (transmitted, radiated, propagated, reflected, collected, received and dechirped waveform) have the unit [sqrt(W)]? If so, how is the [sqrt(W)] transformed to dB in the Range-Speed Response Pattern? Estimating the spectrum by using the power spectral density psd = FFT² yields [W]. So to which power does the value in dB refer to?
Thank you!

Yes, you can think of it as volts. The dB is always defined as 10*log10(W).
