Hi, I'm pretty new to MATLAB so bare with me please. I've got this code to calculate the complex part of the roots of the polynomial, however I need to run the code for numerous expressions of pfcn, but I do not have polynomial in form ax^4+bx^3+... to enter in the form pfcn=@(a)=[a,b,c,d,e]. Is there way for MATLAB to do this automatically? or to just enter the raw form of the polynomial?
The script is attached with the old polynomail; the new one is of form exp(2a(1-H))(x^2+(U-x)^2)( ((U-x)^2)(tanh(aH)+1)-B^2)=((U-x)^2 -x^2)(((U-x)^2)(tanh(aH)-1)+B^2).
Thanks.

fplot(...) argument is your polynomial function with function handle @(a)
