Failed to download the third-party software: Ostermiller Circular Buffer

Hello,
I try to install TI's C2000 Hardware Support Package in Matlab R2018b running in a Windows 10 environment. Downloading the TI software works fine, however, downloading the third-party software Ostermiller Circular Buffer fails. Thus, installation of the package is not possible.
I attached the log file ('mathworks_LIP.txt'). It shows an issue regarding server certification, however, I do not know how to solve this issue.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Goetz Lipphardt

Hi, I had the same problem and found a way that worked for me.
Try to run Matlab as administrator (only for the installation) and install the Package via "Add-ons->Get hardware support packages". Worked for me without any problems, after trying a lot of any other tips I found here.
Hope that finally helped.

Didn't work for me.
Probably the 3rd party software is taken from a different server.

Thank you for this really good and detailled explanation!
First it still didn't work for me, but it helped.
- I faced the same error message as above. ("There are no compatible support packages available to install from this location.")
An solution is given here:
But the installation still failed. (Then I received the same error message as in the beginning.)
2. What finally worked out for me was the suggested way from above to run it as an admin. I changed my user completely to 'admin', since it didn't work with only using the admin-password during the installation. The final clue was given by the log-file which said someting like "permission denied" (not literal).
(Another clue for those who are quite new to such topics, like me: You can make 'App data' visible. It isn't shown usually. Simply ask Google.)

You might find that the website (ostermiller.org) is blocked in your company firewall. Type in a browser. If you get "This URL is blocked" or similar then the Download Support Packages won't be able to download the software. Get your IT bods to unblock it.
