Is Grid Connected Virtual Synchronous Generator Operation (on No load) having main source of energy as a DC Battery, supposed to follow droop control?

Dear Researchers,
I would like to have a discussion regarding No load operation of VSG connected to grid. The main source of energy is a simple DC source. My question is, Is VSG supposed to track the Real and Reactive Power references if it is connected to grid and there is no load attached. There is dc voltage source connected to inverter (No power source like PV or WTG).
My VSG Model perfectly tracks Real and Reactive powers when load is attached.
I want to discuss it with a specialist for detail insight.
Thank you.

yes it should.
how do you control the VSG in off grid mode? what is the order model of VSG?

Hello Shah, can you share Grid conncted VSG model. I have developed stand alone VSG inverter using DC source feeding local loads. Mail id: krishnasharma1093@gmail.com

I want to ask, what is the definition of inertia in a power system? Why is inertia important?

Inertia is super important for the grid because helpful a to measure about load vs generation.
