How to Process Baseband I and Q Samples for GPS Signal Acquisition

I have GPS data received using RTL-SDR usb module in a .mat file, sampled at a rate of 2.048MHz. I want to use this data for signal acquisition. I have a doubt in the first step of acquisition where signal is multiplied with the local oscillator.
I need to multiply different frequency bins in the BW of 2.048MHz.
What should I keep as local oscillator frequency?
