Problem installing add-ons

In MATLAB R2019a I try installing add-ons from the add-on manager. I am then notified that MATLAB will be closed and I click on continue. Once I do that I get windows asking me if I want to give permission to Matlab add-on to install files and I give it. However, after this nothing happens and the add-on doesn't get installed. Does anyone know why this might be the case?

i'm having the same problem right now.
were your problem soved?
Hi, I ended up fixing the problem by installing Java on the computer!
Hi,
I have Java 13.0.2 installed, but I still have the same problem when I try to install the 'Signal Processing' Toolbox. Add-on manager asks for permission to close MATLAB application, and then Windows asks for permission to allow the application to make changes in the computer, but then nothing happens.
More information: I am trying to get the Signal Processing Toolbox version R2020b addon for MATLAB R2019a installation. Hope this is not a problem, as I have other R2020b add-ons working fine.
Would appreciate any help
thanks

I have had the same dilemma just now, i don't really know what the correct solution is, but retrying to install the addon seemed to work (also the "continue" and "cancel" buttons are in a weird order or is it just me? ).
Also make sure to have your matlab updated, i also tried restarting my laptop for it. Either way i managed to install the 'Signal Processing' Toolbox but i followed the "Signal Processing' Toolbox is required" error in my main.m .
