Hello All, I was looking to start my MatLab studying with analysing stock prices.
It seems as if Bloomberg requires one to have a username/password, which I assume you need to pay for.
I was having trouble even using Reuters. Yahoo doesn't work anymore, and I am starting to assume I need a paid account for any financial API.
If I wanted to start learning, are there any free API's I can use?
As an example of an error messege,
con = blp();
getdata(con,'EURUSD Curncy','Last_Price')
Yields:
Error using blp
Verify that blpapi3.jar included on MATLAB javaclasspath.
