I have a function here :
this is when 0<= x<=a
when a<= x<=b
I have to to sketch this.... Can I do this without giving any numerical value to the parameters a and b? I'll plot it as a function of x
Here is my attempt sorry if it's childish, I'm not professional

clc
syms a b x
Psi1= sqrt(3/b)*x/a;
Psi2=sqrt(3/b)* (b-x)/(b-a);
plot(x,Psi1)
hold on
plot(x,Psi2)

Of course: write a function and then call fplot.
