Problems using ODE45 using fmincon command for least square optimisation problem

This statement is not inside any function.
(It follows the END that terminates the definition of the function "myObjective".)
Error in fmincon (line 534)
initVals.f = feval(funfcn{3},X,varargin{:});
Error in Untitled8 (line 4)
P=fmincon(@myObjective,P0,[],[],[],[],lb,ub);
Caused by:
Failure in initial user-supplied objective function evaluation. FMINCON cannot continue.
I suspect I know a bit of what's going wrong.. yet I'm at a loss for how to fix it.. Any help is much appreciated

Your first function is messed up with code after the end that closes the function myObjective, try this change
function chisquare=myObjective(P,straindata,Timedata)

% Timedata=expdata(:,1); % to load them every time you call the function

Then you have to make minor modifications to your script as well:

Haven't checked anything but these changes you should do first.

Actually, I was solving coupled ordinary differential equations using ODE45 and I want to do determine the optimised variables with the help of fmincon command..
