Hello,
I have an equation like :
error = Tem - 1/x * Tshaft
Here the Tem is input experimental data and Tshaft is computed data. The x represents a efficiency. I would like to find a efficiency to minimize my error. Because the effciency varies in the interval [0 1] fsolve is not applicable ( right ? ). I tried to use fzero and solve but didn´t get statisfying solutions. Are there any other solve commands I could possibly use ?
Thanks already

x = (Tem.'*Tem)/(Tem.'*Tshaft)
where Tem, Tshaft are column vectors of the same length.
