How do you plot something inbetween 1≤x≤e

I must plot cos(pi*ln(x)) between 1≤x≤e but cant get it right. Any suggestions?

Not certain what you want. Using xlim is one options.

I want the area between the x-axis and the function cos(pi*ln(x))

You did not say that originally.
Use the integral function.
