Simulink (in Matlab 2019a) - constellation diagram block - color fading effect not observed

4 views (last 30 days)
Hello all! I was trying out the simulink constellation diagram for a 16-QAM signal. I selected 'color fading' (ticked the box) and the yellow dot (marker) that represents the vector will jump around the grid as expected. However, there is no fading effect seen. Once the dot jumpts to the new position, the previous point disappears right away. Can anybody let me know what I need to do to make the fading effect work?
I'm using windows 10 on a PC, and no graphics card .... (ie. just using onboard graphics from the PC motherboard). I'm using the simulink in Matlab 2019a.
Also, the constellation diagram block settings has an area that allows users to change symbol marker, and its size etc. However, I notice that after 'applying' the settings, the marker symbol that we had chosen REVERTS back to a previous setting. This indicates a possible glitch in the software.
Thanks all!
