All,
Does the Driving Scenarion Designer support OpenScenario format? What would be the easiest way to import an openScenario xml file into the designer app?

Hi PT,
You are right in that regard. Confirmed it with the team, we do not provide any support for OpenSCENARIO as of now.
I will update my answer above accordingly, so as to not to mislead others.
Also, can you please provide some details regarding your use case and workflow, as it would help our developers prioritizing this for future releases.

@PT Hi PT, I am working on Matlab driving scenario designer and Vires VTD. I am trying to import the OpenScenario exported from driving scenario designer to VTD but I am not able to do so. The .xml file from matlab looks different than the one in VTD. In this regard if you know any information please do share and help.
Thank you.

R2021a of Automated Driving Toolbox will enable customers to export a Driving Scenario to OpenSCENARIO format. Only sub feature set of OpenSCENARIO 1.0 standard can be exported to a OSC file.

Hi Rajesh, will it be possible as well to import a OSC-file for the scenario definition?

I believe that XOSC export is now supported, but I don't have information about import.

The drivingScenarioDesigner supports exporting OpenSCENARIO files version 1.0 and 1.1. Here’s a reference:

In R2022a, there is limited support for OpenSCENARIO 1.0 import, as detailed here: Import Trajectories from ASAM OpenSCENARIO Files - MATLAB & Simulink (mathworks.com)
You can also edit the imported trajectories with the Route Timing tool: Assign optional timing data to trajectories - MATLAB (mathworks.com)
