making a graph in matlab

hello,
i want to make a 4x1 panal subplot in matlab (1 column and 4 rows) to display 4 graphs... What code do I need to do this as easy as possible? Thank you.

doc subplot
small example:
A = randi(50,10,2);
subplot(3,1,1)
scatter(A(:,1),A(:,2),'*r')
B = randn(20,60);
subplot(3,1,2)
imagesc(1:size(B,2),1:size(B,1),B)
C = sort(randi(100,1,50));
subplot(3,1,3)
plot(1:numel(C), C,'lineWidth',2)

Thanks. can I do this for graphs I have saved as a .fig file?
