Hello,
I have two problems:
1) I don`t have the possibiltiy to choose "externa mode" on the surface of simulink (see picture: matlab2). It is possilbe to choose it otherwise?
2) I can not find the button "connect to target" in simulink. Where can I find it?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you for your help.
I have found the problem. Matlab 2019b is not compatible with Target 1500S V3. I have to use Matlab 2018b.
Hi, I have the same problem, could you solve your problem?
Hi,
yes I solved the problem. Matlab 2019b is not compatible with Target 1500S V3. You have to use Matlab 2018b.
In the pictures you can see the requirements for matlab / simulink and for siemens to use external mode.

I believe your system target file (the .tlc-file) may not be capable of External mode. You need to set it to something like slrt.tlc if you intend to use simulink real-time.

I still do not have external mode option for running my arduino model. Is it 2019b version problem? Older editions had external mode from the initial installation.
