Saving MATLAB path breaks the permission for "pathdef.m"

3 views (last 30 days)
On a multiuser Windows computer, saving MATLAB path removes the read permission of "pathdef.m" for all other users, and cause MATLAB failed to lauch properly for other users. This happens for many releases (R2017b-R2019b).

I believe this is a different issue. I am talking about the read permission of the default "pathdef.m" file which should be visible to all users on a computer.
