How is inertia in planetary gear block calculated?

Hello!
I have some questions about planetary gear block in Simscape Driveline...
When I connect an inertia block to the carrier port, it includes only the inertia of the carrier without the planet gears?
Also what is exactly included in the planet gear inertia parameter? Is it the sum of all the inertias of the planet gears with respect to axis located in the center of the planet gear?
Thanks!

Hello David,
Yes, connecting the carrier port would be the carrier inertia. The planet inertia is the sum of all the planet gear inertias around their own axes.
