Can I change which local client of DOORS is linked with MATLAB?

1 view (last 30 days)
When I try to link DOORS with Simulink Requirements, it uses the wrong server. My default Doors.exe setup uses a server that I do not have access to, but I have a different local Client that I run with a batch file that has the correct server setup.
I also occasionally see the following errors:
DOORS communication failed. If you see the DOORS login dialog, click Cancel and restart DOORS before connecting from MATLAB
MATLAB cannot find the DOORS automation server. You must have Edit DXL access privileges in your DOORS login account to use the DOORS interface.
How do I run the correct version of the DOORs client?

To link to the correct DOORS server, perform the following steps:
  1. Close all instances of MATLAB and DOORS
  2. Open DOORS and login to the server you wish to link
  3. Open MATLAB and link with DOORS as explained in the documentation:
Please note that MATLAB only works with local clients and not Web Access for DOORS 9.
If you encounter issues such as multiple instances of DOORS opening or either of the following error messages, then make sure you have the same administrator credentials for both MATLAB and DOORS. To be sure, run both DOORs and MATLAB as administrator in the above steps, then after linking return to the normal workflow.
