Dear all,
I took my time this days to study the program developed by Milan Batist for COVID19.
I really appreciate this work, it is an excelent outcome and a very good informational source for students, like me.
Regarding this program, I would like to receive some advices from people with much more experience than me. Even if Mila Batista would be the most entitled to responde to my questions, I know that on this forum, there are many skilfull persons, that could responde to these.
1) Basically, I would like to adapt to program to run for SIS and SIRS models.
Do you have some recomendations?
2) I suppose, at least the following equation should be modified. What is this equation generated like, based on the 3 SIR equations? I couldn't find a relationship between the SIR equations and this one.
dCdt = N*(1 - c)*(beta*c + gamma*log((1 - c)/(1 - c0)));
3) Also, the starting values for k,r,A have some specific formulas in the iniguess function, that does not seem to be similar with those I have found described in the logistic growth model.
4) What are these kind of functions based on? Can you indicate me the mathematics theory?
%CALCINFLECTIONPOINT Calculate inflection point for density curve
cm = 1 + (gamma/2/beta)*...
flambertw(-1, -2*beta*(1 - c0)*exp(-(1 + beta/gamma))/gamma);
Thank you very much!
