mcc global optimization error

I am using using mcc to make an .exe to submit to a cluster.

My code uses the global optimization toolbox (multistart fmincon), and works locally without errors. Launching the resulting .exe on a cluster, however, gives the error: "Undefined function or variable 'createOptimProblem'."

This is indicative that mcc is not accessing the global optimization toolbox. Any ideas how to correct this?
