I am trying to download MinGW 6.3.0 for MATLAB v2020a from Add-on Manager and I get this error:
Failed to download the third-party software:
- MinGW 6.3.0 from MinGW-w64.org
This is required by:
- MATLAB Support for MinGW-w64 C/C++ Compiler
How can I solve this problem?

This is a known issue. Our developers are aware about it and will try to fix it in future releases.
You can use the following way to install MinGW until this gets fixed:
1. Download MinGW 6.3:
2. Extract the ZIP-file in an empty directory. Ensure that there are no spaces in the path, for example: C:\MinGW-64
3. Create the environment variable MW_MINGW64_LOC like you can find here: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/223482), which points to the path mentioned in 2, for example.:
MW_MINGW64_LOC=C:\MinGW-64
4. Restart MATLAB and then call 'mex -setup' in MATLAB in order to check and configure MinGW. The output should show something like: "MEX configured to use 'MinGW64 Compiler (C)'...".

I believe that you can edit the code associated with each shortcut icon; you would put in different MW_MINGW64_LOC settings. You might possibly need to change the Target setting to a batch file that set the environment variable and then started the executable.

Sounds like that would be the same as having different startup scripts set for each version of Matlab?
