Saving a file in Matlab R2020a

I recently installed Matlab R2020a on my Windows 10 laptop and whenever I create a script or function file and click "Run" I am prompted to save the file, but when I name it and click OK and then click Run again I am again prompted to save the file as the file is not saved. Can anyone suggest how I can fix this issue?

What OS? If windows, run psr.exe to do screen cam captures and upload it to show us.

Hey ,
On the Home tab, in the Environment section, click Preferences. From the left panel go to MATLAB->Editor/Debugger->Backup files. On the right panel uncheck the "Save the untitled Files" option .
Now Click apply and OK to save the settings.
This should resolve your issue.
