Matlab not going past loading screen. (MBP 2017 and Matlab 2020b)

I have recenty experienced issues with Matlab 2020b on my 2017 MacbookPro. The program gets stuck on te loading screen (attached screenshot). I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled it and the issue persists.

Any help or suggestions in what I can do?

This appears to be a recurring issue with Accessibility Options as the root cause. It is possible that another application is using Accessibility features which are causing this issue.
