Passing 2 arguments to a command line function

In my university we have Matlab 7.0 (R14), I would like to run schedule task running some matlab functions.
From cmd line I type:
matlab -r myfunction(1,1)
The results are
>> myfunction(1
??? myfunction(1
|
Error: Incomplete or misformed expression or statement

matlab -r "myfunction(1,1);quit"

Not working, I don't pass even the dos, it replies in the cmd line:
1) was unexpected at this time.
It has something to do with the comma that is not accepted.

Which OS are you using?
Anyhow, try
matlab -r 'myfunction(1,1);quit'

Same results as using "myfunction(1,1);quit"... Using windows XP professional
