Find Zero Crossing in Cell Aray with Vectors

Hello everybody,
I have the following data:
Time -> 25x25 cell
X -> 25x25 cell
Y -> 25x25 cell attached you will find a picture of what it looks like.
I have to find the value in the red circle (see plot) and then save it for Y as well. In other words, when X reaches zero (zero crossing) the value for Y should be saved. If it is as in the picture that there is not only one value there, the golden mean should be taken.
I always act a little stupid and I think that's broken. I hope you can help me.
