Averaging and plotting cwt matrix

I have a 45 * 513 *52 matrix that represents 52 cwt coefficient matrix with a morl non-complex wavelet. I really need to collapse these into an average or rms in order to get an 'average' to plot a scalogram. I am having so much trouble. I seem to be able to get the RMS, but then the plot makes no sense, so I am thinking I have not got the RMS right. Can anyone help? thanks! Here is the code for RMS I've used. None of the plots have been of any use!
c=cwt(mean(Data,2),Scales,WaveletName,'yaxix');
c=zeros(45,513,52);
for i=1:52;
for j=1:513
c(:,j,i)=cwt(Data(j,i),Scales,WaveletName);
end
end
