Using openfig for various GUI windows

I've been using openfig to various GUI windows. However the second window can't submit. It all works find if i type menu2 in the command window and open it that way. However I don't want the user to have to enter command information if possible. Is there any way when the click submit on GUI 1 to enter the name of GUI 2 into the command window to open it? or a different solution to this problem.
