Concatenate Arrays of different size and data types with blanks

I have a struct with volts, current, temp, and timestamp for each unit. The each measure has it's own timestamp. So my current struct has columns for: "unitID" (single value), "Volts", "voltage timestamp", "current", "Current timestamp", "Temp", "temp timestamp", and "baseline" (single value). I need to concatenate these measurements into an array with the following format:
For reference, the length of each of these will be 50,000+

If the same timestep appears for multiple measurements, should the data be merged? It does not appear to be in your example -- for example 1:00:00 AM has volts and current and temp but you do not construct a single
a 2 55 12 12:00:00 AM 5
for that.
Anyhow, you will need to convert to your numbers to character vectors to do what you want. Numeric table() cannot display emptiness in entries.

Thank you! Converting everything to character vectors was the missing link for me to concatenate this the way I wanted.
