I want to simulate a scenario with an articulated vehicle (tractor + trailer) in the Automated Driving Toolbox.
I was thinking perhaps the easiest way is to set a trajectory for a single car (the trailer) and to and then use a bicycle motion model with a trailer to derive the position for the trailer (i.e, model another car). Is there a better way of doing this? Could I model the vehicle as a single unit somehow? Can I integrate a motion model or do I need to set a manual trajectory for both tractor and trailer?

Hi,
Here is a matlab example that models the motion of a tractor trailer system. This example uses simulink and the vehicle dynamics blockset to model the motion.
Hope this helps !!
