Modelling Electric vehicle with dual motor setup.

15 views (last 30 days)
Hello everyone, my group are trying to simulate an electric vehicle which has different front and rear motor using Simscape (induction machine squirrel cage and PMSM respectively). Most of the tutorial we have been watching only use 1 DC motor, so we still do not know how to implement in our case. The modell of our project can be found in the Attachment.

There are couple of examples that can be used as starting point for putting together two motors on the same shaft that you are looking for depending on the physical modelling environment within MathWorks tools.
Simscape Electrical
  • Electric Engine Dyno - Asynchronous machine (ASM) and an interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM) connected back-to-back through a mechanical shaft.
