I have a 3-D array (of 1 and -1) saved as a .mat file that I need to be available for python users.
I am very new to the python world.
How can I both save the array as something that can be uploaded to python and how do I do the uploading?
It is ofcourse important that it keeps its 3D structure.
Thanks

Ths simplest way is to export it as .dat file where python can read it too.
% example
x = rand(100)
save file.dat x -ascii
