How can I capture state space variables for use in control in simpowersystems?

I have a three-phase power system model complete with generators,generator controls, and an impedance network. I wish to analyze the electromechanical modes of the system and damp select oscillations using a FACTS type of device.

Can I use the LTI viewer to perform this task? Is there a way to get a table of eigenvalues/vectors, singular values, etc? I'd like to evaluate them in order to optimize placement of the FACTS type device and to assess observability and controlability.

An help is appreciated.

Please use the linear system analyzer in the power gui tool. You will need the controls toolboxes for this feature to do everything.
