Hello everyone!
I want to use Matlab/Simulation combined with Unreal Engine and I follow the help below "Customize 3D Scenes for Vehicle Dynamics Simulations" from help center.
But when I use Simulation 3D Scene Configuration Block, select the Default Scene option in "Source Scene", the simulation will go wrong, the following is the error description:
MATLAB System block 'untitled/Simulation 3D Scene Configuration/Simulation 3D Engine' error occurred when invoking 'resetImpl' method of 'Simulation3DEngine'. The error was thrown from '

Caused by:
3D simulation engine interface setup error: could not establish communication. Please restart the simulation.
Similarly, when I select the Unreal Executable option in "Source Scene", the same error will occur,
but using the Unreal Editor option can work normally.
Best regards.

Hi Chuan-Yu, apologies for the delayed response here but this may have been an issue with having the Unreal Editor open while trying to perform the actions you mentioned above. In general, restarting the simulation as decsribed in the error message should resolve this issue. Please let us know if this does not resolve the issue.
