boxplot on third dimension of the matrix

boxplot(A,3); does not work
how I can generate a bocplot on third dimensions = 6 box plots Thanks

Boxplot plots one box per column. If you are wanting to plot against the third dimension, then how are you expecting the first two dimensions to be represented? An array of boxes?
