We're thrilled to unveil a new feature in the MATLAB Central community: User Following.
Our community is so lucky to have many experienced MATLAB experts who generously share their knowledge and insights across different applications, including Answers, File Exchange, Discussions, Contests, or Blogs.
With the introduction of User Following feature, you can now easily track new content across different areas and engage in discussions with people you follow. Simply click the ‘Follow’ button located on their profile page to start.
Depending on your communication setting, you will receive notifications via email and/or view updates in your ‘Followed Activity’ feeds. To tailor your feed, select the ‘People’ filter and focus on activities from those you follow.
We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the User Following feature to foster learning and collaboration within our vibrant community.
Who will be the first person you choose to follow? Share your answer in the comments section below and let's inspire each other to explore new horizons together.

Great article on the new user following feature on matlab central. This is a great idea to help users stay updated with experts and their work. As someone who uses financial analytics software, I know how helpful it is to follow and learn from experienced users. This feature will really improve collaboration and sharing in the community. Keep up the good work.
May 2024 updates:
Thank you all for providing us the helpful feedback. We have implemented several updates to the User Following feature based on your feedback.
1) Followers/following list has been made into hotlinks. It's much easier to view the profiles of your followers.
2) Updated the notification rules: new answers in MATLAB Answers will no longer trigger notifications. This should reduce excessive notifications, especially when you follow a top contributor.
What is the best way to search all community members? The search field on this page only searches Highlights.
For example, I know that I can go to the Cody main page and then click on the Players link towards the top. The search field on that page then searches amongst Cody players. Is there a page from which we can search for all community users across Answers, File Exchange, Cody, Blogs, etc.?
