Hi everyone, I am studying a simbiology model not made by me. In particular, I know that some parameters/species have inconsistent units, I just don't know which ones, since it's a huge model. While the Unit Conversion of Simbiology works perfectly, I'd like to know which parameters have different units; in other words I'd like to have a model with consistent units, that would work without using the unit conversion. It would also be sufficient to have, somehow, a table of the changes in units wrt a 'ground' unit, so that I can change the units manually. I don't know if that's possible in simbiology and I haven't found any documentation on that.

Is there a way to create custom (species-specific) conversion factors in SimBiology that can be used by 'unit conversion' to automatically convert dosing units, so that, for example, I can enter a dose in grams for a species with units 'molarity'?

Hi to all, Does Simbiology performs unit conversion when, for example, a species in the membrane is transformed into a cytoplasmatic product? It certainly does some conversion but I’m not sure is the right one. For example, 1 molecule/micrometer^2 is transformed by an irreversible reaction from the compartment X that has 6 micrometer^2 capacity into 6 nM of the product in compartment Y that has 1 micrometer^3 capacity. According to my numbers it should have been 10nM instead of 6nM. Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance, Omar
