This model simulates a 200W photovoltaic (PV) panel using the single-diode equivalent circuit, implemented in MATLAB. It is a mathematical model that represents the electrical behavior of the panel under varying environmental conditions, including changes in temperature and irradiance.
The model parameters are:
  • Open-circuit voltage (Voc): 32.9 V
  • Short-circuit current (Isc): 8.21 A
  • Series resistance (Rs): 0.221 Ω
  • Shunt resistance (Rsh): 415.405 Ω
  • Number of cells in series (Ns): 54
  • Ideality factor (n): 1.3
  • Temperature coefficient of current (Ki): 0.0032 A/K
This tool is ideal if you are looking to:
  • Analyze I-V and P-V characteristics
  • Study the effect of temperature and irradiance on PV performance
  • Integrate PV models into broader renewable energy systems or MPPT algorithms
