TeloTool - Terminal Restriction Fragment Analysis
TeloTool is a program designed to aid molecular biologists in the analysis of telomere length.
Terminal restriction fragment analysis (TRF) is a technique commonly used to measure telomere length within specific tissues or whole organisms. Data generated from this assay comprise Southern Blot autoradiographs containing smears that correspond to the length and range of telomeric DNA. TeloTool allows complete statistical analysis of such data along with performing probe intensity corrections; this allows the user to easily extract telomere length values in a fast and unbiased way.
