This code extracts digit images (0 to 9) from the US Postal Service Dataset and stores for usage.
USPS digit database is one of the standard datasets for handwritten digit recognition. This dataset can be downloaded from : http://www.csie.ntu.edu.tw/~cjlin/libsvmtools/datasets/multiclass.html#usps
In this simple code, change the directory folder name where you wish to store individual digits (0-9) and use them for subsequent recognition/classification algorithms.
