Intersection of Polyhedron with Plane
Finds the intesection of polyhedron with a plane in y-direction with example file. The polyhedron faces should be divided into triangles. The intersection results in one or more polygons defined by vertices and edges.
[VV,EE]=Polyhedron_Plane(V,F,YPlane)
Input:
V: (Nv,3) polyhedron vertix matrix
F: (Nf,3) polyhedron faces matrix
YPlane: The plane of intersection of the equation y=YPlane
Output:
VV: (Nv2,3) polygon(s) vertix matrix
EE: (Ne2,3) polygon(s) edges matrix
