Description

Teledyne® offers a full range of 2D machine vision cameras for automation, inspection, and research. The portfolio includes compact USB3 and GigE models, as well as high-speed interfaces such as 5GigE, 10GigE, CoaXPress (CXP), and High-Speed Camera Link (CLHS). Camera options support both general-purpose and application-specific imaging needs.

Blackfly® S series offers more than 100 model variations. Dragonfly® S provides compact, entry-level options for essential vision tasks in laboratory and production environments. For higher performance, the Forge®, Genie® Nano, and Oryx® series deliver faster frame rates and larger sensor formats. Specialty cameras include SWIR (Forge), polarized sensors (Blackfly S), and IP67-rated models (Forge), designed to capture clear images in a range of challenging environments.

All Teledyne cameras are GenICam-compliant and integrate with MATLAB through the Image Acquisition Toolbox™ using the GenTL adaptor. This enables users to capture, control, and process image data in real time for system design, algorithm development, AI training, and automation workflows using MATLAB and Simulink®.

Teledyne machine vision cameras are used by engineers, researchers, and system integrators to capture and process image data for vision-guided robotics, quality inspection, motion analysis, and embedded vision prototyping. These cameras support use cases requiring reliable image acquisition, trigger control, and high frame rates for system-level design and validation.

Industries served include electronics manufacturing, robotics, life sciences, and academia. The portfolio supports MATLAB users working across Windows®, Linux®, and macOS platforms to prototype, test, and deploy imaging applications—from laboratory environments to industrial production systems.

Teledyne machine vision cameras integrate with MATLAB through the Image Acquisition Toolbox using standard GenICam interfaces. The cameras stream real-time image data into MATLAB, enabling users to capture, configure, and analyze images directly within their environment.

Camera support is provided through the Spinnaker SDK, which provides the GenTL producer for camera control, triggering, exposure, gain, ROI, and multi-camera synchronization.
