MATLAB student software requires activation. The activation process verifies licensed student users and validates each unique serial number to ensure compliance with our license agreement.

Activation Methods

The quickest way to activate your software is to use the product activation program that begins after installation. Or you can activate your software online.

Requirements for Activation

To activate your software you must:

• Provide registration information by creating a MathWorks Account
• Provide your serial number and the machine ID for the computer on which you will install the software
