Curve fitting tool opens with window too large to fit on monitor screen

2 views (last 30 days)
I am running Matlab 2022a in Windows 10. When I open the curve fitting tool by typing either "cftool" or "curveFitter" the app window opens up with a size too large for my monitor. More than 1/3 of the window is positioned below the bottom of my monitor screen (and outside it) and the horizontal line defining the top of the app is about 3 cm below the top of my monitor display. Simply moving the app window up to the top of the screen does not bring the bottom of the app completely into the monitor sreen, it must be resized to do so. Each time I have used it since updating to 2022a from 2021b, I have had to resize and reposition the app window to use it. I did not have this problem with 2021b and earlier. Nor do I have this problem with the nlintool in 2022a.
Is there some way to change the default window size with which the cftool opens? Or is there some system setting on my computer that could be causing this, which I could change to fix it? Or is there some other cause/fix?
I am using a wide screen monitor with settings Display Resolution: 1360x758 (Recommended), Size of text, apps and other items: 100% (Recommended), Display Orientation: Landscape.
It is not show stopping, but it is annoying.

There's not much you can do from within Matlab, unfortunately. I would try upgrading any graphics drivers that might need updating with even the remotest posssibility and then a complete reboot.

Thanks. I will give that kind of thing a try when I am not in the middle of stuff (like now) and report back if it works or not. I thought of possibly finding the app itself and (shudder) editing it myself if I could, but that would be a last resort. Plus, since I did not see any other queries on this, it makes it sound like it is my system problem.
