Hello I have made a SimMechanics model and want to define the Internal mechanics of the body joints. Can any body suggest me How to define the joint primitive specially Spring Stiffness and Damping Coefficient of joints.
Thanks in advance.

A Revolute Joint in Simscape Multibody permits one degree of freedom. If you want to define damping and spring stiffenss for that degree of freedom only, you can expand the "Internal Mechanics" portion of the dialog box and specify equilibrium position, stiffness, and damping that will act on that degree of freedom.
If you are modeling (for example) the "elbow" in a robotic arm and you want that elbow to have deflections along other axes, you will need to add the joint that permits those degrees of freedom and then specify the stiffness and damping for the additional degrees of freedom in that joint block.
