Simulink/Simscape/Parsim monte-carlo issue:

I'm running a simscape/multibody/parsim in monte-carlo mode. The problem can be run in normal mode (all 1000 cases run) but not rapid accelerator mode. In rapid accelerator mode the simulation hangs part way through, and Matlab is unresponsive. The windows performance monitor reports that all cpu cores are still running but unless I kill the process it will never respond.
At first the sim crashed at run number 105 so I tried reducing the output data by a factor of 10. After that the sim made it to run 696 and hung there. I suspect that an output buffer or file is to blame. I have 32 gig on my machine and the memory in use never gets above 20 gig.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,

Seems like you have narrowed it down to a logging or buffer issue. Try eliminating nearly all the data logging. The Simulation Manager may provide additional diagnostics. If you can share the model, we can test it further.
