problem with xtick in plotyy

Hello,

I have

x1 = 1 to 60 min

x2 = 1 to 30 min

Y1 = values

Y2 = values

Note = all are having same vectors

if i use plotyy command i.e. plotyy(x1,y1,x2,y2) it gives me two xtick and yaxis label that looks weird. Please give me the solution to this problem. Thanks

Do you think that weird xtick is enough information to know what is your problem?

Well,

   plotyy(1:60,rand(1,60),1:30,rand(1,30))

looks pretty much like I'd expect here...insufficient data to know what "weird" you got or why.

Are the time vectors datenum values, perchance, w/o having used datetick()?

Please do not paraphrase your intention, but the real Matlab code. It is not clear, what "x1 = 1 to 60 min" exactly means.
