Sequel of problem 45948
https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/cody/problems/45948-function-minimization-beat-fminbnd
Matlab's fminseach function finds an unconstrained minimizer of a function using, starting from an initial guess.
Can you do better than fminsearch, for a single variable?
You are given a function handler fun (one scalar input, one scalar output) and an initial guess x0. Return a minimizer xopt between such that fun(xopt) < fminsearch(fun,x0)
